Sunlight is the new single by Mistrust. It is a new version of the song which appears on my latest album. The single comes with a bonus track - "Yellow and Grey (Live at Button Warehouse").

Sunlight was written about and inspired by the my visit to the historic workers' village of Port Sunlight.

I visited Port Sunlight as a child and never went back there until recently. I always had distant memories of the buildings and streets and the village seemed to look very familiar when I went back. I was fascinated by the buildings and streets and the history of the place. I've always had a connection with the history of Port Sunlight, having lived in Bolton most my life, where the names "Lever" and "Leverhulme" are everywhere! The song "Sunlight" puts a modern twist on why people were encouraged to live in Port Sunlight when it was first founded.

I've recently performed Sunlight live in store at my local HMV store. I will also be performing at HMV in Stockport on Saturday 17th of June, and HMV in Warrington on the 24th of June.

"Sunlight" is the title track of my latest album, also called "Sunlight". Copies of the album will be available to buy in all of those stores, along with my last single "Yellow and Grey" (also taken from the album "Sunlight").
